Just in time for NaNoWriMo, my short story anthology “Tales From The Highway” is live on Amazon Kindle Direct.
Currently, it’s listed at $1.99, which gets you 7 short stories in the Urban Fantasy/Modern Fairy Tale genre, but from November 2 through November 6, it’s FREE.
That’s
right. Starting Thursday November 2nd 2017 and going through Monday
November 6th 2017, it’s yours for the low price of zero.
“Tales From The Highway” combines several stories you’ve seen alpha-drafts of
here on my Tumblr, along with two new entries: Open 24 Hours and One For
The Road.
I will be putting together a Print On Demand copy once I
have at least five reviews (hopefully positive!) on the digital
version.
“Tales From The Highway” is a book written in honor of my
late paternal grandmother’s love of finding unique ways to get lost on
the California highway system, having adventures in small towns, lost
sections of road, and discovering the hidden treasures of the Golden
State’s many valleys. It’s also a book about loss, and growth, and how
sometimes the two go hand in hand. Finally, it’s a book about liminal
spaces, the stories we tell ourselves to get through the day, and the
under current of the fantastic that lives all around us, if we can just
scratch the surface enough to see it.
It’s great if you like it. It’s okay if you don’t.
But I hope you do.
